Santa Cruz hardcore outfit Drain say they have new music coming out in 2025.

Drain recently wrapped up a U.S. tour where they offered support to headliners and fellow hardcore band Knocked Loose. They've now taken to social media to announce a new record is on the horizon – though it's currently unclear if it'll be an EP or a full-length album. The full, tongue-in-cheek post reads as follows:

Good news is we're gonna lay low for a bit…bad news is we got a new record coming out in 2025

It was recently announced that Drain would be playing all three days of the New Bloom Festival in Australia in March 2025. The festival begins in Brisbane on March 8th, continues in Sydney on March 9th, and wraps up in Melbourne on March 10th. Drain also teased that they would be playing some additional dates in Australia as well. Based on their new comments, however, fans probably shouldn't expect too much else in the way of touring until after Drain's new record comes out.

Drain released their debut EP, Over Thinking, in 2016. They followed it up with Time Enough at Last in 2017 and, eventually, Watch You Burn in 2021. Their first full-length album, California Cursed, dropped in 2020. Their second, Living Proof, followed in 2023. Earlier this year, before joining Knocked Loose on their tour, Drain headlined their own "Good Good Tour" in support of Living Proof.
