Sodom release music video for 2024 redux of "Body Parts" as 1992's 'Tapping The Vein' is reissued

Sodom has reissued their cult 1992 album Tapping The Vein with a fresh re-mix, remaster, and expanded content. Among its standout tracks, "Body Parts" dives into the dark horrors of the organ trade, with lyrics penned by drummer Chris Witchhunter and a friend named Bertrum. Notably, the album marked the first time lyrical duties were shared between all members: Tom Angelripper, Andy Brings, and Witchhunter. Producer Harris Johns also pushed Tom to experiment with a deeper vocal tone on tracks like "Body Parts," complementing the band's standard tuning while amplifying its menacing vibe.
The new expanded editions include a fully remixed version by Andy Brings, alternate takes of three tracks, and three live recordings: Tokyo 1992, Düsseldorf 1992, and Cologne 1992—the latter being Witchhunter's final performance with the band. These editions, especially the super deluxe version, offer a comprehensive revisit to one of Sodom's most visceral albums.
