Serj Tankian announces involvement in new Netflix series "COLD CASE: WHO KILLED JONBENET RAMSEY"

System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian has announced his participation in an upcoming Netflix docuseries.

Tankian was involved with the graphics and the scoring of the series, titled COLD CASE: WHO KILLED JONBENET RAMSEY. The docuseries will focus on the story that surrounded the murder of six year old JonBenet Ramsey in 1996 and the investigation that followed.

Tankian reposted the trailer for the series to his own Instagram with the caption:

Very excited to share the trailer to our upcoming documentary series, COLD CASE: WHO KILLED JONBENET RAMSEY, which will launch globally on @netflix on November 25th!
The story of a six-year-old JonBenet's murder and the hunt for the perpetrator has been an American obsession for decades, with many tying culpability to JonBenet's parents. But with an explosion of irresponsible tabloid journalism and an inexperienced Boulder, Colorado police force muddying the truth and hindering a fair investigation, false narratives pointing unjust accusations towards the Ramsey family have persisted for years.
We explode these stereotypes with unprecedented access, never-before-seen audio and video, and a multi-year investigation that spotlights the absurdity of the tunnel vision that created this sea of conspiracy theories. We advocate for the Boulder PD to complete all DNA testing required to help determine the perpetrator, and compel audiences to recognize the prevalence of obfuscations of the truth in our society today and their dire, real-world consequences. There is more to this story and more action to be taken to solve this case--it's time to set the record straight.
