Prior to their first show of the tour in Chicago, IL, UK hardcore punk outfit The Chisel has canceled the remaining dates of their current U.S. tour which include festival appearances at Riot Fest and Louder Than Life.
The tour was sectioned into two legs, the first running from September 19th through the 28th. It is uncertain if the second leg, October 11th to 18th, is affected.
The band shared the following:

Talked to the singer last night. When the fed cut the interest rate this week it threw off the exchange rate and now it's no longer economically practical for them to finish thei tour. Despite looking like a bunch of homosexual garbagemen, they are very financially literate and aware of their margins. I'm sure they are watching the US elections and its impact on the short and long term health of the markets before they make their touring plans for Q1 and Q2 of 2025
