Veil of Maya go on hiatus, cancel all upcoming tours and festival appearances

Update: Guitarist Marc Okubo made a simple post via X today, after not having posted sinceMay 26th, that he was in fact still in Veil of Maya.
Genre-bending metal powerhouse Veil Of Maya have announced the band will immediately go on hiatus and have canceled all upcoming tours and festival appearances.
A brief statement just posted by the band on social reads:
We have made the difficult decision to have Veil Of Maya go on hiatus and we will not be playing any of the upcoming festivals or tours.
We apologize to our fans and appreciate everyone's support over the years. This break is necessary for us to reassess our future, and we hope you understand. When the time feels right, we'll update you on what's next for Veil of Maya.
Veil of Maya was scheduled to perform alongside Signs Of The Swarm, Varials, and To The Grave on the European Faces Of Death tour kicking off next month. Currently a replacement is being sought out.
Signs of the Swarm shared the following:
We're sure you've seen by now that VEIL OF MAYA are on hiatus and won't be joining us for our tour with Varials and To The Grave anymore. FEAR NOT! The Pins & Knuckles Merch Faces Of Death Tour WILL go on.
We're currently in discussions with Avocado Booking and other possible artists on how to make the tour the best it can be and would appreciate anyone holding onto their tickets and faith that we will deliver an amazing tour for you. If you were considering picking any up, it would be hugely appreciated!
We'll keep you updated as soon as we can.
