Riot Fest moves back to Chicago's Douglass Park after negotiation with city

After deliberations with the Mayor of Chicago's office, the Chicago Park District's leadership, and Alderwoman Monique L. Scott, Riot Fest has decided to relocate the festival from the SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview back to its original home at Chicago's Douglass Park. 

The decision comes after Riot Fest had initially announced its departure from Douglass Park due to disagreements with the Chicago Park District. However, it appears that Riot Fest has now come to an agreement with the city of Chicago and its Park District, making way for the return of the festival to its familiar home at Douglass Park.

Headlining the event this year will be acts such as hometown heroes Fall Out Boy, Beck, NOFX, and Slayer is set to reunite for a performance.

Full album sets will be provided by The Offspring performing Smash, Manchester Orchestra performing Cope, Lamb Of God performing Ashes Of The Wake, and Mastodon performing Leviathan.
