Crucialfest shares opening night lineup for three-day fest in Salt Lake City

Crucialfest is a boutique Salt Lake City music festival and celebration of the fringe styles of underground and extreme independent music and art. Originally launched in 2011 and craftily curated in and concept and content, Crucialfest spotlights global, national, and regional acts with a broad sonic palate. Crucialfest 13, which will take place September 13th-15th at SLC's Metro Music Hall, today announces the opening night lineup for its three-day event.

Night one of Crucialfest 13 will feature Bordeaux, France cosmic psych trio, Mars Red Sky, Denver slowcore multi-instrumentalist, Midwife, Nashville stone-psych unit, Howling Giant, Bay Area post-hardcore quartet, Ex Everything, Boise doom-sludge sect, Onsetter, SLC trance-psych trio, Iota, shoegaze-doom assembly, Violet Temper, and the industrial-instrumental act, Dehorn.
Additionally, the September 13th Crucialfest kick off will feature a special "Friday the 13th Night of Evil" set by slasherwave darksynth producer GOST.
