Killing Time, Token Entry, and more to play benefit in honor of Leeway's Eddie Sutton in Brooklyn

The New York hardcore community will come together to honor the memory of Leeway vocalist Eddie Sutton, whose real name is Edward Anthony Pomponio, and affectionately known throughout the scene as Eddie Leeway, with a benefit concert titled "For the Love of Eddie Leeway." The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd, at the Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn, NY.

Eddie, a revered figure in the hardcore scene, recently passed away following a battle with lung cancer, during which he received care in a hospice facility. Known for his energetic performances and genuine love for music, Eddie's impact on the genre and its followers remains profound.

Organized by Blast Furnace Productions, the concert will feature an array of bands that have shared stages, influences, or friendships with Eddie over the years. The lineup includes iconic groups such as Killing Time, Token Entry, and a special Leeway tribute set with details soon to be announced, among others. Bands like Fire Is Murder, The Ice Cold Killers, Silence Equals Death, and Moment of Truth will also grace the stage in his honor. 

Doors for the event will open at 3 PM with the first performance kicking off at 4 PM. Attendees are asked for a $20 donation at the door, with all proceeds going directly to Eddie Leeway's family to support them during this difficult time.
