New York's Imperial Triumphant is set to drop a revamped version of their 2018 release, Vile Luxury, remixed and remastered by the seasoned Colin Marston (known for his work with Krallice and Gorguts). The initial release of the album had already redefined the boundaries of extreme music, and now, the trio is back with a renewed take on this pivotal record. Widely regarded as Imperial Triumphant's most accessible work, the fresh approach allows for the emergence of stygian dimensions and monolithic intents within the music.
Bassist Steve Blanco shared the following:
The future, like everything else, is not quite what it used to be. From 2018 to 1924, timeless vision extends. Behold the single which truly pushed Imperial Triumphant into the spotlight of the new roaring twenties. Swarming Opulence: that which never stops consuming.
In conjunction with the launch of Vile Luxury, Imperial Triumphant has joined forces with avant-garde creatives from House of Masks (AJ Good of Slipknot), Paleface & Company, Joshua Everetts, and the visionary talents of Trash Bag Ghosts to craft the Masque of Mercury. Introducing a fresh and reimagined design, these masks are not only highly collectible but also part of an extremely limited hand-numbered box showcasing the enigmatic and clandestine opulence born from the boundless collaboration between Imperial Triumphant and House of Masks.
