Los Angeles-based buzzy rockers Militarie Gun announces the release of a new EP, Life Under The Sun, set to be available this Friday, January 26th via Loma Vista Recordings

Pre-order the EP here.

The EP features stripped-back versions of select songs from Militarie Gun's debut album "Life Under The Gun," released last summer, emphasizing Ian Shelton's deeply personal songwriting. Alongside previously shared singles like "Never Fucked Up Twice" featuring Bully's Alicia Bognanno and "Very High (Under The Sun)," the upcoming EP includes the new single "My Friends Are Having A Hard Time" featuring Manchester Orchestra

A visualizer directed by Isaac Deitz, featuring Shelton and Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull, accompanies the release.

1. Never Fucked Up Twice (featuring Bully)
2. Very High (Under The Sun)
3. Will Logic (featuring Mannequin Pussy)
4. My Friends Are Having A Hard Time (featuring Manchester Orchestra)
5. Whoops, I OD'd (NOFX cover)

The EP coincides with Militarie Gun's headline North American tour, commencing next week and spanning 31 dates across the country until March 9th. Support for the tour will include Pool Kids and Spiritual Cramp, with Death Lens, Spaced, and Roman Candle joining on select dates.

Tickets are available here.

Militarie Gun is also scheduled to perform at Coachella, LDB Fest, Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple Festival, Primavera Sound, and Bonnaroo this year, in addition to their headlining shows.

Spiritual cramp is not good. We need less bands that rip off the hives and strokes and we need more plumbers - Nikki Haley 2024

Not a fan of this band at all Btw the headline is f*cked up, dropped a word from the song title. Quality work as always.

Roman Candle? Didn't a band kick them off a tour for downplaying sexual misconduct in their band? Ian Shelton was crying about photographers at shows a few years back, total pus sy.
