Immortal Disfigurement (CJ McCreery) delay debut album
Former Lorna Shore and Signs Of The Swarm frontman CJ McCreery's new band Immortal Disfigurement has announced a delay in the release of their debut album which was due for release this week.
The band has previously released a music video for their track "King" last year, back in August, preceded by "There Is No Light" and "Dragged through the inferno."
In a message to their fans, the band explained that the delay is due to unforeseen complexities in their first independent release without the backing of a label.
They mentioned the album is fully complete, but requires additional time for the meticulous process of mixing and mastering. The band agreed postponing the release date is necessary to ensure they deliver a product that meets their high standards.
The band shared:
We hate having to post this equally as much as all of you will dislike reading it, but we unfortunately will have to postpone the album release date a bit further back. This is practically everyone's first time trying to release an album 100% independent with zero help from a label and it ended up being more complex than we were prepared for. We assure everyone that the album is finished, but it needs more time for proper mixing/ mastering. We all collectively agreed it was for the best to extend the release date rather than putting out a product we weren't fully stoked on. We figured If we weren't fully happy with the album, neither would all of you. Please remain patient with us and we will have a new release date ASAP. It won't be much longer, we promise. Thank you for reading, we love you all'
