New Orleans sludge metal supergroup Down are working on new music per guitarist Kirk Windstein. Windstein shared a photo from his personal Facebook profile of both he and Down/Corrosion of Conformity guitarist Pepper Keenan in the studio with the caption:
So…we kinda wrote 2 Down songs today!!!
The band's last release was the 2014 Down IV - Part II EP which didn't feature Windstein at the time, so this will be his first new music with band since 2012.
Lambgoat recently had Windstein on the Vanflip Podcast where he shared more information on the upcoming possibilities with Down and his other projects, which you can check out below.
