Glassjaw celebrate 30 years with comprehensive limited edition vinyl box set

Long Island, NY post-hardcore darlings, Glassjaw, has unveiled a special commemorative release to mark their 30th anniversary – The Playable Collection. 

This comprehensive set spans the band's impressive discography and includes vibrant new colored vinyl editions of their pivotal 2000 debut album, Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence, and its 2002 successor, Worship And Tribute. The collection further incorporates their 2011 release, Our Color Green, along with the critically acclaimed Coloring Book and their third studio album from 2017, Material Control.

Complementing the vinyl offerings, a dedicated book, available in both softcover and hardcover editions, accompanies The Playable Collection. This authorized oral history of Glassjaw's illustrious career is narrated by key figures such as Walter Schreifels from Quicksand, Tim Williams from Vision Of Disorder, Tommy Corrigan from Silent Majority, Gavin Van Vlack from Burn, and more.

The book also provides a visual journey through locations significant to Glassjaw's vocalist Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck. Featuring photographs of memorabilia, along with a chronological series of band images from 1993 onwards, it offers fans a comprehensive insight into the band's history and the elements that shaped their artistic journey.

Black and White vinyl sets are limited to 1993, while the Gold set is limited to 500. (Edit: Gold bundles have sold out)
