Weekend Nachos reunite in Chicago for 17-song set, watch the full show here
Illinois powerviolence crew Weekend Nachos recently made a return to the live stage, marking their first performance since disbanding in 2017.
The group delivered a 17-song set at The Metro in Chicago, IL, at the Harm's Way album release show last night, November 18th, which also featured All Out War, Fleshwater, and Ingrown. Fan-filmed footage of the performance shared via YouTube by 2XIL3D LIVE.
The reunited band have also announced additional shows for May at Northwest Terror Fest and Maryland Death Fest.

This show was packed. Crowd was WAY more receptive and energetic for Weekend Nachos than for Harms Way.
Didn't sell out the venue like Turnstile did.

Nachos are f*ckin great after their last 3 albums, but Harm's Way is pretty mid at this point. Everything since Rust has been mediocre. I wouldn't have stuck around for them either

Metro takes half the door cuz they can - they have all the leverage. They have a bar guarantee too (which would be highest on a Saturday night this show was on) which means if it's 5K & the bar does only 3K they take 2K on top of their half. Shane maybe made a month of rent off this.
Bottom line is Harm's Whey needed Weekend Nachos to draw more people & if the show sold out (which it clearly didn't) it was only because WN pushed it to a sellout. See kids, when you headline a show you sell it out two ways: on your own draw or with support. If this show had sold out it did so with support. A true headliner sells out a place on their draw alone.
