Maul release music video for "Disintegration Of The Soul" as new EP drops

20 Buck Spin releases Desecration And Enchantment, the latest EP from North Dakota death metal band Maul, along with a new video for the second track, "Disintegration Of The Soul."

Following their impactful Seraphic Punishment full-length debut in 2022, Maul has solidified their presence in the US death metal underground. Heavy touring across the country has further entrenched the band's Midwest death stylings, characterized by intense live performances and the menacing presence of frontman Garrett Alvarado.

Picked up by 20 Buck Spin based on the strength of their debut album, Maul is currently crafting their next full-length release. In the meantime, they present Desecration And Enchantment, offering a glimpse into their evolving sound and satisfying eager fans awaiting a new album.

Recorded in May 2023 at Signaturetone Recordings in Minneapolis (known for Ulthar, Obsequiae, Sunless), the EP comprises three songs, with one exclusive to the cassette version. The tracks, featuring guest synth and sample work by Isthmus of Styx, were recorded, mixed, and mastered by Adam Tucker. The EP is adorned with cover artwork by S. Deloria Black Wolf.

Maul is set to conclude the year with another round of touring. This time, they will be hitting the Midwest and South alongside Sentenced 2 Die.
