Ex-Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Brujeria drummer Nick Barker gives update on Kidney

In late July we reported that drummer Nick Barker (Ex-Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Brujeria) was diagnosed with Kidney Failure. Recently Barker appeared on the Royalty Free Radio show for a quick interview where he shared a brief update on his situation:
Barker commented:
I'm feeling great. I've got dialysis treatment first thing in the morning. I get picked up at six, I'm plugged in by seven and I'm back home for around lunchtime. Yeah, I'm doing okay.
Treatment has its ups and downs. Sometimes it can wipe you out physically; you feel completely drained. And other times you feel great. It's a bit of a roller coaster. But I'm doing great. I'm keeping positive and I'm working towards getting a transplant as soon as possible… I'm really working on getting my health back on track. And I hope to be back behind the drum kit and touring the world again very soon. And I'm gonna come back with a bang.
Barker's GoFundeMe account is still active and taking donations, if you wish to help click here.

Post CommentDude is a talented drummer. Unfortunately he played for bands that are total dogshit.
Seems like a good lad. Loved his run with CoF. Glad he's doing better.
Dimmu Borgir has played to backing-track drums since he left.
Brujeria sounds like something that would give you kidney disease.
Writing Kidney with a capital like that makes me think he's giving an update on his new band
He'll be back to peeing like a champ in no time
