Carcosa share new single "Nothing", share music video

Vancouver, BC deathcore band Carcosa have dropped their first new song in nearly 9 months. The song—called "Nothing," to a resounding chorus of jokes as to the lack of substance or existence implied by its title—marks their first collaboration with Buster Odeholm (Vildhjarta, Humanity's Last Breath, Thrown), who mixed, mastered and re-amped it. The result is arguably their heaviest track yet, and one that fans were waiting impatiently for after its live debut on the band's highly successful North American tour supporting Angelmaker this summer. (Dates below)

The video was actually filmed at one of the shows on that tour to over 500 people at Toronto's Lee's Palace.

Vocalist Johnny Ciardullo shared the following:

'Nothing' is quite literally about nothing…more or less. This song is about embracing the nothingness that awaits after death, the release of the responsibilities life throws your way and the true peace it will bring. Often nihilism is associated with a very negative outlook on life, but I wanted this song to be more of a positive nihilistic anthem, it's the ever rewarding light at the end of your human trials: the bliss in nothingness.
