Pain Of Truth drop from Code Orange's Code World hours before doors

Following their run in Japan, Pain Of Truth was scheduled to perform at Code's World, the Code Orange festival held in Pittsburgh, PA. That doesn't look like it will happen.
A few hours ago the band posted via their Instagram story that some of the band members have fallen ill, though they have tried to wait it out the band informed fans they would not be performing hours prior to doors being open.
The band shared:
A few of us are sick… tried waiting as long as possible to see if it would clear up. We hate dropping shows especially one like this… Pull up support @codeorangetoth, we'll run it back with them soon. Mosh for Scarab.

Code World wasn't financially worth it to them. These guys think they're who they are e.g. they have a Sound Talent Group booking agent & flying their drummer from Ohio to the show & back is not included in their guarantee cuz they can't get a drummer who lives on Long Island or Connecticut.

Preserving Underground is in New Kensington a town north of Pittsburgh. Having "Pittsburgh" on the flyer is like having NYC on the flyer but the venue is in White Plains NY. Real dumb shi it "Code". Hi, we're King Nine. We've been around since 2011 & have exactly four releases, last one five years ago. We get all these fest slots but never headline our own shows on Long Island or in NYC & we're never booked in CT, NJ, or PA. We just know the right people.

They sold out the 875 cap about month ago but 2 years ago they sold out the 1400 cap Roxian for the Underneath release show. Preserving claimed CO easily could have sold a larger venue but wanted a smaller venue for the 'hardcore roots'. Granted back in 2021 they had Dying Fetus who surpass every support here in multiple ways but it also speaks to their own struggling popularity and poor decisions. They couldn't even sell out a 500 cap on Thursday in NYC with Vein. Saddens me because I still really like the guitarists and thought Underneath was a great guitar album.
