Ibaraki (Matt Heafy of Trivium) release music video for "Jigoku Dayu"

Official press release:
Trivium singer and guitarist Matthew Kiichi Heafy released RASHŌMON, the long-awaited and much-anticipated album from his Ibaraki project, last year via Nuclear Blast. Listen to the full album here.
Today, Heafy has shared the video for "Jigoku Dayū," which was directed by Black Card Films.
Heafy shared the following:
When I first witnessed the original classic Japanese painting of Jigoku Dayū, I was mesmerized; then I read the story," Heafy explains. The story is one that still haunts me to this day: a woman captured, enslaved, and forced into a world of servitude. The kimono she forged for herself depicted all the scenes of hell — a metaphor of the prison she now lived in.

Post CommentRashomon seems like an appropriate title. He says his music good and he's not a loser. I say it's shit and he sucks dog dick. Who can say where the truth is?
This is what happens when you start making people money and they become afraid to tell you that your ideas are trash
What the hell is this bullshit ? I rather listen to the stories my hibachi chef is going to tell me tonight while he makes me the flaming onion volcano thing that I have seen at least 400+ times.
Hey is this guy half-Japanese? Can't seem to figure it out.
this is racist. I'm half Mexican, but you don't see me prancing around in a sombrero & poncho, shooting guns & drinking tequila, all while playing in my band Generico Bando Nombre
LOL @ this white boy co-opting Japanese culture.
This confirms 100% - ALL MUSIC FROM JAPAN OR MADE BY JAPANESE PEOPLE (EVEN HAFUs) TOTALLY f*ckING SUCKS.
When did Matt turn into a piece of chicken satay?
Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai is more Japanese than this.
