Blue Ridge Rock Festival cancel day 3 due to weather, might be forced to cancel final day

This year's Blue Ridge Rock Festival is having a rough go. Severe weather forced the festival to halt entertainment for a short bit earlier on Thursday and unfortunately, it appears that the festival has been forced to cancel day 3 of the event altogether due to weather once again.
Once again due to the weather, the day started with delayed entry but unfortunately, the organizers were forced to make the call. Ultimately the storm was severe enough with 30-40 mph winds, heavy rain, along thunder and lightning.
Full refunds for today's (Saturday the 9th) lost programming will be made available.
There is no official word on whether the event will continue on for its fourth and final day, however, the festival is monitoring the weather and will have a decision by 5 pm today on if the event will continue.
The festival shared the following:
Following a thorough assessment of this weekend's continued severe weather, with more forecasted, we have made the painful decision to cancel today's programming in the interest of your safety.
Please be safe and take care of one another. All officials, agencies, and festival personnel will continue to monitor and work on this situation. We will have an update on tomorrow's programming by 5 p.m. today.
As with Thursday's weather forced cancellations, full refunds will be issued for today's loss of programming. You will receive an email this upcoming week with confirmation.
We will continue to monitor and update as informed.
Update 6:46 pm EST: The remainder of the festival's programming has been canceled.
