Official press release:
German sludge metal duo Mantar are kicking off the final dates of their 2023 tour cycle for their current album Pain Is Forever And This Is The End (July 15, 2022). The band's South American dates with Assassin kick off this Saturday in Bogota, Columbia at Herbívoro and will conclude on September 10 in São Paulo, Brazil at the Setembro Negro Festival. From there, Mantar will head to Mexico, New York City, then off to Europe.
Hanno Klänhardt, one half of the group, shared:
It's always extremely exciting touring completely new countries and territories for the first time. There is just this certain magic in meeting new people, fans and cultures. Most of Latin America is new to us, but we have been to Mexico before once which marks one of the highlights of our career. Coming back there and also traveling to other Latin American countries have been on our bucket list for many years. The kindness and (positive) craziness of the people down there is unparalleled.
