Metallica set SoFi Stadium single-show attendance record, beating Taylor Swift

Metallica, the iconic heavy metal band, have broken an attendance record at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. The band's two shows over the weekend attracted 78,000 fans per show, surpassing the previous record held by Taylor Swift.
Swift, well-known for her immense popularity, drew approximately 70,000 fans to each of her six shows, totaling an impressive 420,000 fans. However, Metallica's accomplishment lies in the fact that they were able to attract 156,000 attendees to just two shows, at 78,000 per show.
These shows not only attracted tons of Metallica fans but a handful of celebrities as well.
Although Swift had far more fans over six shows vs. Metallica's two, the band officially set a single-event record, which was shared by SoFi Stadium's X account.
