Taking Back Sunday's 'Tell All Your Friends' goes platinum
Taking Back Sunday has reached platinum status according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their classic 2002 album, Tell All Your Friends. Craft Recordings and Victory Records surprised the band this weekend with plaques commemorating the momentous occasion.
The band shared:
"Tell All Your Friends is officially certified platinum and we have each and every one of you to thank. Craft Recordings / Victory Records surprised us last night and it was real nice."
Former guitarist and co-founder Eddie Reyes, who left the band in 2018, stated:
"Thanks for all the kind words and recognition on reaching platinum status. It's to bad I can't be there for all this. A lot has changed in my life. I wish I had handled things differently and dealt with my issues better, but I'm still blessed and grateful for being a part of something special. And to have shared the stage with some great musicians and dudes. I am Very proud of all the hard work we did and the sacrifices we put in to making this record and many more. Again thank you for all the support and love."
