Fugazi working on new material

Although Fugazi has no plans to tour or play live for the rest of the year, they are concentrating on writing new songs and recording demos. The band hopes to do some more shows in 2001 but nothing official has been planned. There are also plans to release a DVD of the film Instrument sometime next year. The DVD will contain some extra short films by Jem Cohen and Fugazi as well as additional concert footage. In other band news, Fugazi's Joe Lally has started his own record label called Tolotta Records. Bands on the label include the Obsessed, Spirit Caravan, Dead Meadow and Stinking Lizaveta.
