Turnstile cancel upcoming London headlining show due to venue
Turnstile was scheduled to perform at London's O2 Academy Brixton on August 15, however, the band has been forced to cancel that date. Turnstile states the reason for cancelling the date, was because the venue remains 'closed'. The band tried to move the show to a new date or venue but had no such luck.
A statement from the band reads:
Due to the current status of the 02 Academy Brixton remaining closed, we are sad to say our show on August 15th is cancelled.
Despite our efforts, we were unable to reschedule or relocate to another location.
Your booking will be refunded in full automatically.
Love you all so much.
We will see you soon

I heard from a good source the band don't allow the bassist near their money.
The venue is "CLOSED" = Turnstile sold barley any tickets and no other venue in London wanted to book them and lose money. Their manager can't buy and audience like he can in America. If they would have gotten Terror to come on the show as the headliner then it would have sold out quicker than Better Lovers at The Rec Room in Buffalo did.
