Texas In July return after nearly a decade with new single, "False Divinity"

After nearly a decade of inactivity, the American metalcore band Texas In July emerged from obscurity to bless fans with new music. The group, which includes Chris Davis of The Ghost Inside and J.T. Cavey from Erra, last released Bloodwork in 2014 through Equal Vision Records.
Having taken a substantial hiatus, especially under the name Texas In July, the five-piece band has returned, showcasing their brand of modern metalcore in a grand manner. Check out the band's brand-new single below.

Almost ten years off and they STILL sound like a poor man's ABR. Heh. Exactly this.

marketing fail. idiots couldn't have held this in til oh i dunno....JULY?
Yeah, if I am going to listen to shit like this I rather just put on Thrill Seeker and spank my monkey.
Thrill Seeker still slaps. This band ain't it.
Texas in July is amazing anyone saying not is just a snob
^, we're just not basic bitches like you. There is not a single unique aspect about anything to do with this band. Texas in July= watered down commercial metalcore from 2005-2009. Here's a list of all the bands that did this overdone style better: August Burns Red, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, the last incarnation of it dies today, the devil wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, Miss May I, Of Mice and Men, I the Breather, Woe is Me, We Came as Roman's, Architects, This or The Apocalypse, For Today, etc. ALSO: almost every band I listed above sucked ass- so the fact that all those bands are better than Texas In July really speaks to the vanilla ass great value status that this band had.
Exactly what we need, 40 year old guys in C-tier metalcore bands putting out new material
Meh. Rhode Island in September clearly the superior act.
let me know when inhale exhale, nodes of ranvier, corpus christi, destroy the runner and calico system reform. then we'll talk.
flying into mansfield from billings just to be closer to this recently reactivated group
