The Mosh Retirement Guy is making a mockumentary

Stanley Sievers

Filmmaker, actor, and comedian Stanley Sievers is working on a mockumentary about his iconic character, the Mosh Guy. The story revolves around the mosh retirement guy getting into trouble at a show by crowdkilling, resulting in him being banned from future shows indefinitely. However, a reunion concert of his favorite band brings new hope, albeit with a catch. To come out of retirement, he must find the person he harmed.

To finance the project, Sievers has launched an IndieGoGo campaign and outlined the costs associated with it. There are promises of surprise cameos from familiar faces in movies, TV shows, and bands. While we wait for the production, Sievers has uploaded a video explaining his idea and encouraging people to donate.

In a social media post, an announcement read:

Hey folks! I'm super excited to launch this @indiegogo campaign to make a little movie about the mosh retirement guy.

Ever since I made the first mosh guy video, this was always something I have wanted to do. I want to say I appreciate everyone that has enjoyed the videos. Making stuff like this is one of my favorite things in the world, and I am stoked to make something that I think y'all will love.

I also want to thank @midnighthour_sfv for letting us film this fundraiser video there. Also @mahaffeytaffy for helping us film. The creative team behind this (@steven.Tobiasz @taylor_frontier and myself) have put together a great plan to make it happen.

Check it out. Donate a few bucks if you can. Share it. Whatever you wanna do, but I just want to say I'm grateful for everyone that enjoys what I've been making. If you aren't careful you'll end up like the old man with the ice pack. LINK IN BIO!
