Heavy Music Awards results announced, Bad Omens, Electric Callboy, and Scene Queen among winners

Over the weekend, the UK hosted the Heavy Music Awards at London's OVO Arena Wembley, where almost 5,000 fans, artists, and industry professionals gathered.

Bad Omens received the Best Album award for The Death of Peace Of Mind, beating out nominees like Architects, Ghost, Slipknot and more. Electric Callboy also secured a notable win for Best International Live Artist, surpassing bands such as Ghost, Turnstile, My Chemical Romance, and others. 

Perhaps most questionable, though, was self-proclaimed bimbocore singer Scene Queen's win for Best International Breakthrough Artist, as she garnered enough votes to surpass up-and-comers artists like Chat Pile, LS Dunes, Scowl, Soul Blind, and ZULU to win the award.
