First week sales numbers for Frozen Soul, Ghost, Sleep Token, and The Used

Before we dive into the first week sales, let's take a moment to review the sales activity of iconic metal titans Metallica, specifically highlighting their remarkable consistency. This week alone, 72 Seasons sold 5,200 units, contributing to their overall sales figure of 195,000.
Moving on to Frozen Soul, the Texas-based death metal band sold impressive numbers for Glacial Domination in its first week, selling 1,600 units, which is a promising start for the album.
Sleep Token achieved sales of 16,000 units of Take Me Back To Eden in its first week, showcasing their growing popularity and support. Additionally, Sleep Token has established a significant streaming presence as one of Spotify's Top 125 artists this week at #123.
As for Ghost, their Phantomime covers EP did quite well, selling more than double what Sleep Token garnered in its first week, resulting in an impressive 34,000 units sold.
Following up, The Used had sales of 575 units in the first week of their latest, Toxic Positivity.

Post CommentDidn't account frozen souls sales reflect the stage worn sock bundle
The bassist isn't the singer of frozen, why use her with the other vocalists?!
The Used only had 575? That has to be a typo…
Megadeth putting these young bitches to shame
LOL @ Knocked Loose, Drain & Jesus Piece the so-called "hardcore" bands selling 34.4K copies combined, only 1.4K more than Coheed & Cambria, living proof these three are wannabe big time small time. Drain is too busy shilling for Monster Energy & Lululemon & trying to be beach party boys.
New Turnstile song leaked Full pop punk, these dudes will explode now Haters on suicide watch
^^^ BS & if not sellouts. Who wrote it, Mark Hoppus? BTW where was Turnstile on this list?
Liberals are chomping at the bit for June. "WE WANT TO BE HEARD." You assholes are heard way too much. 😂
^^^ BS & if not sellouts. Who wrote it, Mark Hoppus? BTW where was Turnstile on this list? ^It's being years since Blink wrote a song this catch. Just wait But if could be a one off
Turnstiles numbers were too high to be on this list
Sleep Token is not in the top 125 of Spotify. Not even remotely close. What 3rd rate website did you rip this hard hitting reporting off of webby?
How the hell did Sleep Token sell that few copies when their entire tour sold out pretty quickly?
The Used sells 575 copies and people want to say this nostalgia has legs? Get lost. All previous forms of music before hit harder. Keep arguing about Turnstile, I'm going to book my cabin for the Monsters of Rock Cruise next year. No doubt that Winger and Dangerous Toys have made a bigger impact than this genre.
Holy shit! Sleep Token is so bad. What the f*ck is the matter with you?
Turnstile is in the third year of the Glow On tour. Padding 2021 numbers. Mastodon level.
"How the hell did Sleep Token sell that few copies when their entire tour sold out pretty quickly?" I'm basing this all on Metal By Numbers. 16k, in the first week, by modern standards, is very good, on par with what other current headliners like Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Spiritbox, Ice Nine, and even Bring Me do (last BMTH I think did like 11k first week.) Godsmacks latest did 18k. Korn did 19, Shinedown also in the 40s. Keep in mind that Ghost had 60k, Chili Peppers had 80k first week, Slipknot 102k, Metallica 130k. 16k is a low number compared to first week sales 20 years ago, but in relation makes a bit more sense. But all these numbers are very weird and sorta hard to gauge a bands popularity on, there are bands with huge streaming numbers and low record sales and vice versa. Escape the Fate have millions more listeners than Spotify than Turnstile yet obviously can't headline mainstream festivals.
"Drain is too busy shilling for Monster Energy & Lululemon & trying to be beach party boys." I bet they hang out on main beach like a bunch of tourists saying they surfed Santa Cruz. Stay on the hippie yuppy West Side you posers.
I'll be honest, I really do love this new Sleep Token album. It might be a bit fringe for the less eexplorative hardcore/metal kids but those of us who also live prog and the like mahouts really enjoy this.
^ Agreed - I have had the new Sleep Token album on repeat. Nice to hear something unique in a creatively dead genre.
Those Lamb of God numbers are surprisingly low. They used to do double that in first week sales once upon a time. I've always heard that getting played on Liquid Metal, even in heavy rotation, does little for album sales, for whatever reason. Must be the case, as LoG get as much play there as any band.
Those Metallica numbers are incredibly bad considering their track record. "Remarkable consistency?" They used to sell that in a day when a new record came out.
this post is abhorrently inaccurate, go figure.
" I've always heard that getting played on Liquid Metal, even in heavy rotation, does little for album sales, for whatever reason." Liquid Metal has no impact, on anything, at all. Jose has terrible taste and is completely out of touch, and has been the entire time. Dude jocked a band like Byzantine so hard when they reunited. Look at that Devil's Dozen list; usually the only unestablished bands on there are bands you'll never hear from again. Dude's never helped "make" a band. And LOL at the Used.
575 Used fans are listening to a bad ass album
"^ Agreed - I have had the new Sleep Token album on repeat. Nice to hear something unique in a creatively dead genre." c*nts always say this. Yeah. Metal is a creatively dead genre. You must like Opeth a lot. gay.

The Used only sold 575 copies its first week out. How embarrassing for a veteran legacy band. At that point give it up.
