Architects part ways with Josh Middleton
According to the band the split was amicable, and they wish him the best

Architects have officially parted ways with guitarist Josh Middleton. According to the band the split was amicable, and the members of Architects remain close friends with Middleton, who played an instrumental role in keeping the band going after the death of former guitarist Tom Searle in 2016. Middleton was added to the band in 2017 and has been with them since. Middleton is also a founding member of the band Sylosis, pre-dating his time in Architects.
Architects expressed their gratitude towards Middleton for his contributions to the band and wished him the best in his future endeavors. As of yet, there is no word from Architects on a replacement. Middleton has been working on new material with Sylosis.
The band shared:
"It is with a heavy heart that we announce Josh's time in the band has come to an end. It has gradually become apparent that we need to go our separate ways, but we remain close friends.
Josh was a life raft for the band after we lost Tom and he gave us a way to keep the band alive through the hardest experience or our lives. We will always be grateful to him for that.
We wish him the best in his future endeavours and we suggest that everyone keeps an eye out for the new Sylosis record later this year."

Post Commenthave to cut down to four or three with a touring member to make any money since mid 2010s as a metalcore band. back tracking
Good. Now he can focus more on Sylosis. Way better band.
Good for him. Four piece and creatively hollow albums for Architects now
Need to make more money, easy play. Creatively Middleton stands out from all the other members.
This band has become such a disappointment for me.
Dude was pushing too hard to get a new song structure somewhere in there.
anonymous 4 hours ago Band died with Tom. Nailed it. Middleton's got some talent, which means getting away from them is a good move.
The game hasn't been the same since Oceano dropped 'Depths'in 2009 🔥 Shit no one says
Nah dude is right. That album was a windy city clam slam and took your mother to new depths. JSR for life!

Todd Jones here. Long story short, upon our return from our 'Unsilent Death' in the hell dimension of Rlatha-rthot, your mans was abruptly attacked by rogue, government-funded transgender super soldiers at the Abandoned Cadmium Mine Practice Facility near Hines Peak, with accusations that NAILS 'had been conducting a most sinister experiment on the boundaries between dimensions and parallel universes. We had used the Gel boyos to conduct these experiments, which resulted in the coexistence and intersections of dimensions in ways that were previously thought impossible. Five dimed SPLAWN stacks later, I played the opening riff of Among the Arches of Intolerance, creating violent celestial winds and summoning Xarathul, an ancient being of unfathomable power and immense malevolence. With the ultra-morose killing hide on my back and frostbitten-eagle visions, the Gel'd trans army were no match for our cataclysmic tornadoes. Posers LATERED. They/Them will never be one of us
They stripped me naked had me lift my ballsack up so they could check underneath it, and then had me bend over and spread my asscheeks apart so they could look inside my asshole.
This website is a heaping pile of shit and everyone that works for it is a failure at life
10/10 Todd Jones appearance. Was afraid he'd gone silent.
His first album with them was one of, if not, THE best album they have done in my opinion. The two since have had some fine moments but haven't been near as good overall.
