Mizmor announce US tour dates, share new single

Mizmor

Official press release:

Monday, Pacific Northwest Black Metal solo-outfit Mizmor announced the highly-anticipated new full-length and Profound Lore Records debut, "Prosaic" - which is due for release on July 21, 2023.

Following the band's critically acclaimed albums, "Wit's End" and "Cairn", Mizmor's evolution reveals an ascension from the noose of past trauma. "Prosaic" transcends. Four new compositions of black doom, narrated by Mizmor mastermind and multi-instrumentalist, A.L.N., shows him looking forward - forging a path of new perspective, self-acceptance, and confidently building a future, untethered.

Written, performed, recorded, and produced by A.L.N, "Prosaic" redefines and surpasses modern American Black Metal and Doom. The landmark album reveals Mizmor's seismic labyrinths as vignettes of a life being lived - with breaths of hope where hope seemed lost before.

Today, Mizmor announces tour dates in support of 'Prosaic'. The powerful live band features M.S.W. on guitar, Andrew Black on bass, and Nate Myers on drums who all play in Portland, OR outfit HELL.

The tour,  which begins July 27th in Seattle, Washington, shows the live band playing 26 dates across North America. Mizmor will meet up with Pacific Northwest doom band Usnea and Ontario post-black metal band Unreqvited for select dates.

About the tour, A.L.N. shares:

"I am thrilled to be hitting the road this summer with my mates to bring Mizmor's music around the country in support of my new full-length record and Profound Lore debut, "Prosaic." We are honored to be joined by Usnea on the west coast and Unreqvited throughout the east and midwest on our first full US tour as Mizmor. We will be playing a mixed set featuring songs from "Yodh," "Cairn," and "Prosaic." Hope to see you out there!"

Along with the album announcement, Mizmor revealed a new music video and single, featuring the track "No Place To Arrive". The track and video are streaming on all digital platforms to high acclaim. The stunningly powerful music video was conceptualized and creatively directed by A.L.N. and Emma Ruth Rundle. The video was directed and edited by Zev Deans and shot by Brendan McGowan with A.I. and 3D by Adam Espino and Wolf Tijuana
