Gatecreeper working on new material with Fred Estby (Dismember/Carnage)

Gatecreeper has been quite busy since the release of their 2019 album, Deserted, and the resumption of touring. Despite their busy schedule, the band has managed to find time to work on new material. Late last year, during an appearance on Jamey Jasta's The Jasta Show, Gatecreeper vocalist Chase Mason hinted at the possibility of a new album, which they planned to write and record during the first half of 2023.

To ensure they have enough time to focus on recording, the band made mention of the fact that they had to turn down tour offers for the first six months of this year. Mason was unsure if the album would be ready for release in 2023, but they are determined to have it recorded by sometime this year.

Now it seems, the band is making progress on the new record. This week, in a Facebook post, the band revealed that they have been working on their new material with Fred Estby from legendary Swedish death metal bands Dismember and Carnage.

The post stated that LP #3 is on its way.
