The Halo Effect release new single ahead of US headline tour

Swedish melodic death metal band The Halo Effect have unveiled a new visualizer for their song "Path Of Fierce Resistance," which was previously only available as a Japanese exclusive on their debut album Days Of The Lost. The track is now being released worldwide ahead of the band's first US headline tour in May with Unearth and Higher Command and the announcement of their next full-length album.

Frontman Mikael Stanne spoke about the significance of the song:

"Path Of Fierce Resistance" is a song we wrote for the Days of the Lost album but it only surfaced on the limited Japanese edition and it has been very close to us and having it here now for all to hear feels fantastic."

"The new album is in the works and we are incredibly excited about it, so consider this as something to keep you guys going until we unveil what is coming next. "

"Path Of Fierce Resistance" was written by Jesper and Niclas and deals with the theme of following one's own path, regardless of unrealistic expectations. The band is set to begin their US tour on May 20th and can't wait to bring their music to American audiences.

In addition to the new song, The Halo Effect has also digitally released a 30-minute documentary, previously only available as part of the physical format release of Days Of The Lost. The film delves into the band's origins and how they came to be.
