Agalloch, the atmospheric blackened metal band that disbanded in 2016, is set to make a comeback on stage later this year with their original lineup.
Vocalist/guitarist John Haughm, guitarist Don Anderson, and bassist Jason Walton will be reuniting for a limited return at this year's Prophecy Fest and other shows. Drummer Hunter Ginn (known for his work with Canvas Solaris, among others) will be joining them to complete the lineup for these performances.
Prophecy Fest is scheduled for September 7-9 at the Cave of Balve in Balve, DE.
Guitarist Don Anderson shared the following regarding the announcement along with playing limited shows:
After nearly eight years since the band broke up, Agalloch are reforming with the intent of playing limited shows. The line-up remains the original three: vocalist and guitarist John Haughm, guitarist Don Anderson, and bassist Jason Walton. We will be aided by Hunter Ginn (Canvas Solaris, Sculptured, Radical Research Podcast) on drums.
We will re-emerge, perhaps fittingly, from the Balver Höhle, which is a cave used by humans since the stone age, at this year's Prophecy Fest. We've been fans of Prophecy Productions' roster of bands since their inception and are pleased to make this fest our debut after being gone for so long.

Post CommentOnly cuckmericans dorks listen to this dogshit band.
Good news because they released some great albums. I'm glad Haughm is reconciled with the lefties and I'm glad they were willing to let go of his past cancellable comments.
Kinda lazy/disrespectful to use a photo of an old lineup, when they posted a new trio photo today, and in other articles.
Antisemitic dudes are stoked. Funny how being "canceled" is fake.
1087 the number of the Knee. Ain't no scholars ringing doorbells tonight!
Our atmosphere turned black, once the sheet rock was put up, but we truly feel, we are in a better place.
Pretty brave to book a bunch of fests during prime sheetrock season
