Born Through Fire (Tim Lambesis and Joey Alacorn) share music video on eve of debut album release

Official press release:
Born Through Fire's much-anticipated, debut full-length album, Purify and Refine, is out tomorrow, Friday, April 7th! The band features Tim Lambesis (As I Lay Dying) on vocals and Joey Alarcon (Wolves At The Gate) on guitars and they deliver a propulsive blend of aggression and dynamic hooks resulting in a modern heavy metal assault of epic proportions. A captivating, new video for the track, "Trapped Inside," can be seen below and look for Purify and Refine on all major digital service platforms!
Lambesis shared the following:
Joey and I have been friends for a decade now and have been through both heavy and fun times together, which provides so many layers to us personally in doing Born Through Fire together. Purify and Refine is a self produced album, so we feel like we had the chance to truly be ourselves. I also learned a lot as a guitar player and engineer getting to work with Joey, so I got to enjoy the entire process. We're incredibly proud of the end result.
All the song's lyrics fit into the Purify or Refine mindset of trying to grow as a person, but that is also how we originally categorized the songs we were writing. We put a bunch of songs into one folder called Purify, because it sounded like they would melt your face off like a purifying fire for metal. Then there were other songs that had a little more finesse and feeling that went into the Refine folder.
I write like I'm working in a journal and then I come back later and try to re-think how I can re-write that sentiment in a more poetic way. That's why I tend to write more songs about who I want to be and how I want to grow, as opposed to songs about my current state. Then there are a couple songs that I wrote about people I've met over the last 10 years and how I saw their struggle, but believe they are inspiring.
Joey and I each do the first round of drum tracks ourselves on the demo version of songs, or we write the drums together on days when we're both riffing in the same place at the same time. However, we are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have the drums replayed by some incredible drummer for the final product. The first person to track with us was Luke Holland (The Word Alive), who did three songs and set the bar very high for each drummer after him. Ultimately, they all rose to the occasion and we are so thankful for their contributions.
Purify and Refine covers a lot of ground ranging from rhythmically brutal tracks that groove, catchy sing-alongs and thrash parts to the closest thing to a ballad I've done over 15 years.

Think tim is roided out? Look at say anything's drummer Cody.. https://ibb.co/cN6dw4V Wow so you're into men
stop promoting this dude's music, he deserves to die in obscurity.
finally some real metalcore news. Tim never actually committed a "crime" warm up to the forthcoming tier one AILD release in terms of streams, venues and splatter sell outs. check back on it
yawn, trash music from wannabe murderers. this shouldn't even be posted, giving this drug addicted poser any attention is f*cking stupid
Caskey - Murder for Hire is better than this
My name is Tim, I make vroom vroom sounds on my motorbike and do steroids to impress men.
Remember when this dude was in prison and tried to get special meds to combat his sagging man teats when he could no longer 'roid up? Yeah, that's an alpha move there, dork.
Tim's testosterone levels are epic. Artificially inflated. But EPIC !
Tim has so much muscle on his body he can barely headbang or bend over for that matter. Dude's been hitting those deadlifts HARD.
Tim here. I'll let you fondle my boobs for $1000. Brandt can't watch, though, or he has to pay $100.
Tim Alpha and Top G. The collab all us Sigmas have been waiting for.
'Purify and refine' sounds sus af. Seems like Tim let some like-minded friends convince him it was ok to drop the soap in the joint.
I'd imagine being born through fire is bad for both mom and baby, but what do I know. All I do know, is AILD is dope, and needs to play as much as possible. Tim and company rip!
Aphex Twin had 1 good song and its not even that good.
Is the dude that put out a hit to murder his wife again.
LMbasis should start a band called murder for hire
Where's the idiot who goes on & on about how ALID will sell out House Of Blues & similar-sized venues? 😂
Turnstile accountant here, just told Tim they can't buy onto our world tour
Turnstile accountant here, just told Tim they can't buy onto our world tour Of course you reply about yourself as soon as you see the word Turnstile. What a fu cking loser you are.
AILD has sold out HoB venues in multiple continents since Tim got out and they reformed. easily researched and known. you thought scrub
Sounds like he's stuck in 2002 but roided out. Rock for Tapout shirt dads with salt life truck stickers
This photo of these wet veiny dudes is perfect for the Bud Light cover art.
Smartest move Tim has done is let AILD die and create this epic metalcore homeostasis. This will go platinum.
"stop promoting this dude's music, he deserves to die in obscurity." Die In Obscurity sounds like a sick band name.
Born Through Fire is an interesting band name if you happen to know that it's about Tim's urine exiting his pee hole.
AILD has sold out HoB venues in multiple continents since Tim got out and they reformed. easily researched and known. you thought scrub >> No they haven't you dickriding idiot. Stop caping for them, Turnstile, Godsmack etc. it's embarrassing.
Aphex Twin had 1 good song and its not even that good Rick, Aphex Twin has 3 good songs. And Windowlicker is a good song, you've just been too busy listening to Infant Annihilator you f*ckin fruit cup
Ending breakdown is great. The slip knot style yells sound like ass though. AILDZ style screams and growls sound good. Overall this was mid. I wonder if the people who cry about the hitman this listen to hip hop. A lot of the rappers are literally serial killers. Why aren't you on some pop website crying?
Sylosis does this better and doesn't reek of stinkin sweat
