Dethklok announce a pair of festival appearances

The stars of Adult Swim's "Metalocalypse" series, Dethklok, have announced their upcoming shows for this summer and fall. They will be performing at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Alton, Virginia in September, and at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California in October as we reported earlier today.

Dethklok has not embarked on a proper tour for 11 years and has only played a total of three shows since their 2012 US tour with Machine Head, All That Remains, and The Black Dahlia Murder. These three shows were performed at the 2014 Festival Supreme and the 2019 and 2022 editions of the Adult Swim Festival Block Party.

The most recent touring lineup of Dethklok featured Brendon Small on guitar and vocals, along with Gene Hoglan on drums, Nili Brosh on second guitar, and Pete Griffin on bass.
