Vio-lence's Phil Demmel ponders state of band following line up changes and Whiskey-A-Go-Go show

Vio-lence performed this past weekend with their new lineup since co-founder and drummer Perry Strickland left or was removed from the band, depending on you who ask. This was the first show with replacement, Adrian Aguilar from Exmortus. You can see video of the performance below.
Also in recent news it was shared that bassist Phil Demmel will also not be making the band's upcoming Asia and Australia dates and that Interloper and ex-Rings Of Saturn member Miles Dimitri Baker will be filling in for Demmel on that stint and when he can not make tours.
Demmel gave a 'State of the Voi-lence' via his Instagram live stream following the shows at Whiskey-A-Go-Go, where around the 7:00 minute mark he admits it is "kind of weird playing these show with Perry gone now" and give a bit of internal perspective on the band. Furthermore he discusses how he is in a "weird spot" right now with the current state of the band and that he is "torn" as to the future of the band and his future with the band and what his role will be.
Demmel also goes on to admit that in a conversation with band vocalist Sean Killian he wanted to "shut it down" (referring the band in general) and that he may have limited to no involvement touring with the band in the future.
