Exhorder took to Instagram today, Saturday February 18, to inform fans that the first round of recording for the band's follow up to the 2019 album, Mourn The Southern Skies, has been wrapped up.
Guitarist/Vocalist Kyle Thomas, bassist Jason Viebrooks, and drummer Sasha Horn recently spent time in Cinncinnati, OH alongside engineer Rob Nadler at Fat Track Studio kicking off recording sessions for the groups upcoming album. The new effort tentatively will be released later this year through Nuclear Blast and will mark the first piece of Exhorder material that features former Cannibal Corpse guitarist Pay O'Brien, who joined the band last year.
@exhorderkyle & @bizzygillespie smashed it this week, we're another step closer to completing the new album.
As we're preparing we need your help getting Kyle, Sasha and @jviebrooks to 10,000 followers, it would give us more leverage against the algorithm (Zuckerburg Curse) plus it help expose Exhorder to new fans.
As you can see Kyle's having a well deserved beer, stay tuned.
