Emmanuel 7 calls it quits

After ten years together, Connecticut's Emmanuel 7, once known as Groundzero, has called it quits. The group has released a handful of albums during their existence (including material with Thorp Records). The band will play a final show on August 13th at the Knights Of Columbus in Wallingford, CT along with bands like Death Threat and Death Before Dishonor. Meanwhile, members of the band will be pursuing another band full-time called Wrenchintheworks. The band will have a demo available at the aforementioned show, and will eventually release a full-length with Redscroll Records.

Thats too bad, really. The band I was in used to play around with them. Definetly one of CT's finest. Can;t say much about their newer stuff, but Groundzero was good. Wrench is pretty sick as well. Rip, guys.

I remember seeing them when I was in Middle School when they played as GroundZero. I was definately blown away at the time by what they were doing. RIP guys.

the split they did with love and suicide wasn't bad.

Groundzero had one or two good songs. They were horrible and dissapointing live. Haven't heard anything from them in 7 years. Definately never heard a word about emmanuel 7. I don't care honestly.
