UPDATE: DevilDriver announces return of original bassist Jon Miller
Former Static-X guitarist Diego "Ashes" Ibarra is now former DevilDriver bassist after his announcement that he's leaving the band this past Friday.
Ibarra announced his departure by saying:
Ibarra replaced former Bury Your Dead guitarist Chris Towning in 2016 and featured on two DevilDriver albums, Outlaws' Til the End, Vol. I and Dealing with Demons, Volume I. It's unclear who will replace Ibarra, as the band has not yet responded publicly."Hey everyone I just wanted to let you know I have officially parted ways with Devildriver it was an honor to play with some of the most talented musicians thus far in my career. I wish Devildriver the best and look forward to what the future holds and new musical chapters"

Dez is such an idiot. Smart move by this guy. This band hasn't been relevant in years
Dez had a meltdown on stage while touring with opeth in Chicago in the early 2000s. People had their literal backs turned to devil driver in the front row (cause opeth and devil driver are worlds apart from an intellectual stand point and most opeth fans hated the cringe they had to sit through) and Dez couldn't handle it and started talking shit over the mic directly to the people with their backs turned and was egging the crowd on to beat their ass. The people had to get escorted out due to safety and Dez's ego. Wish this would have happened during the smartphone era.
Dez tries paying people in Lamb of God coin.
Band sucks so bad. Even the tweakers from Coal Chamber look down on Dez.
"Dez had a meltdown on stage while touring with opeth in Chicago in the early 2000s. " Similar thing happened when they co-headlined with White Chapel. They were supposed to rotate nightly but his ego couldn't hack it so after he whined a bunch, they just closed every night except for the TN show. He threw a total tantrum on stage whining about the fans, deathcore and so on.
