Motionless In White album debuts at No. 12 on Billboard 200
Scoring the End of the World, the new album from Motionless In White, has debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 after tallying 29,500 in total activity during its first week of release in the United States.
Of that total, 23,000 were actual sales, propelling the album to a No. 3 debut on the Top Album Sales chart, just behind BTS and Harry Styles.
Meanwhile, Scoring the End of the World landed at No. 2 on the Top Rock Albums chart, No. 1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, and No. 1 on the Current Rock Albums chart.
MiW's two preceding albums, 2019's Disguise and 2017's Graveyard Shift, both bowed at No. 27 on the Billboard 200. To date, the band's most successful debut comes via 2014 album, Reincarnate, which sold 31,000 in its first week and landed at No. 9 on the Billboard 200.
Speaking on the debut, Motionless In White said, "[This] is a massive statement made by YOU, the fans, showing the world that rock and metal is here to fucking stay. We cannot thank you enough. We love you, let's celebrate!"
