Looks like a gimmick tour where venues are depending on more reliable KL/CO hardcore/metal fans to go see shows because rappers never draw as well as their streaming numbers suggest they would. I know they ran this tour with Turnstile last year and mainstream friendly Turnstile has more fans than KL/CO.

I agree with posters above that Code Orange and Knocked Loose aren't hardcore (don't know their history as well as CO but present day KL is 100% metal) . Code Orange Kids was playing sludge/doom metal before Kurt Ballou signed them, and then they started sounding more like Converge/Disembodied for a while before sounding more like Pantera, Alice in Chains, and Fear Factory. Both are clearly metal bands, not sure why this is controversial, but I guess I don't get hardcore subculture.
