Silent Drive (Bane, Drowningman) return with first new song in 17 years
More than seventeen years since the release of their last album, Massachusetts post-hardcore outfit Silent Drive — which features former members of Bane and Drowningman — have returned with a new album and its first single.
The new full-length is titled Fairhaven and will arrive on June 10 through Equal Vision Records. Meanwhile, the album's lead single and video, "Dearly Beloved" can be found here:

Should be illegal to play in a hardcore band past the age of 25. >>> Your mind is living in an era where you were an old fart at 25. 25 is the new 15 in hardcore even though 25 is the age where you should stop singing about betrayal, revenge, hating society etc. I'm well past 25 & I would never conceive of playing in a hardcore or metal band.
This was a demo they released in 2008 called 'Mexican Standoff'... not sure how "new" i would consider it....
