Three years after disbanding, New Zealand metal group Saving Grace have officially announced their return. The band says that both "new music and tours will be announced in the coming weeks."
Here is their statement:
"We had planned to do things differently but the situation globally with the pandemic continued to delay and postpone all of our plans. Time and time again. The secret is… we are back.
"We have been working on new music together since almost a year back, and we were supposed to announce our reunion and NZ tour in celebration of The King Is Coming turning 10 years last year in November, but again our country entered another extensive lockdown in August. Our vinyl reissue of TKIC dropped a few days ago and even this was delayed by so so long, Facedown Records ordered the vinyl close to 14 months ago."We have had at least 6 major shows canceled in the last few months delaying this news, but time is up… you can run but you can't hide, we are coming back stronger than ever. Heavier than ever.
"Tickets to our first show in New Zealand since 2018 will go on sale at 5pm tonight. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement, and we couldn't be happier to be doing it with some of our good friends.
"We know you have a lot of questions and we can't wait to share more with you soon. New music and tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks."
