Meshuggah album 'Immutable' debuts at No. 113 on Billboard 200
Immutable, the first full-length from Swedish extreme metal band Meshuggah in nearly six years, debuted at No. 113 on the Billboard 200 chart after tallying roughly 10,000 album-equivalent units in its first full week of release in the United States. Of that total, nearly 3,000 were comprised of vinyl sales.
Meanwhile, Immutable landed at No. 6 on the Top Album Sales chart, No. 6 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 5 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart.
Meshuggah's previous album, The Violent Sleep Of Reason (2016), sold 18,000 copies in its first week, propelling the record to a No. 17 showing on the Billboard 200. Its predecessor, 2012's Koloss, achieved the same chart position and a nearly identical sales total.
