Lo-Pan drummer Jesse Bartz diagnosed with cancer, undergoes surgery

Jesse Bartz, drummer and co-founder of Ohio rock band Lo-Pan, underwent surgery this week after recently being diagnosed with cancer. The surgery revealed that the cancer originated in his tonsils and Bartz will soon begin radiation and, possibly, chemotherapy. According to his doctor, his upcoming "course of treatment is highly effective."

A GoFundMe has been created to offset Bartz' medical bills and expenses.
