Destruction and Nervosa to tour North America this spring

German thrash metal veterans Destruction will headline a North American tour this spring in support of their forthcoming album, Diabolical. The trek will feature direct support from Nervosa in addition to special guests Sunlord and VX36. The itinerary can be found below.
Founding bassist Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer comments: "Yes - we are super thrilled: the first tour of the new record, Diabolical, will kick off in North America! We could not tour there on the last album because of the pandemic, so we made it a top priority to return as soon as the circumstances would allow us, to play for our American fans again! We are bringing our friends Nervosa along - they are a perfect match! We toured together before and the pits were smoking! They also haven't toured in the USA or Canada in a long while. This is a killer package and we are super excited! See you all for a serious beating!"

Post CommentHell yeah at being in your 50's and doing tours in a van for $750 a night for the band. Fake news. They're getting $825 a night.

Stay across the pond with your dated dungeons and dragons bullshit.
Who? Damn lamb goat really trying to compete with pop metal sites eh?

Wizard from the Middle East here, move this to the upstairs, this will draw 20 people tops
Hell yeah at being in your 50's and doing tours in a van for $750 a night for the band Imagine being near 50 or a band for 15 years and actually buying onto this tour, which is DEFINITELY what the two openers did.
Any chance for a May 16 date at the Exit in Fresno?
Any chance for a May 16 date at the Exit in Fresno? Yeah, they're going to overshoot SF by 2 hours, making it a 12 hour drive, to play f*cking Fresno of all places, to go back to SF, to turn around and come back down the coast. Good planning.
Matt Fox here. I will babysitting Todd Jones' children so that he can attend this show. Excelsior!
So you realize that old school metal and metal from Europe was what kept festivals alive and possible for years. The reason new England metal and hardcore festival had metal on it. Because metal is what sells and bring in the true fans. A straight up hardcore festival couldn't have survived as that festival did for years. Posers and people have no idea dont respect bands like Destructions because they dont realize what these bands did for the scene for years. I miss the days of that fest when metal bands brought in the people and the hardcore bands were an amazing blend and change up throughout the days. Posers and hardcore kids dont understand the good days and before when bringing together metal and hardcore scenes was a clash of cultures and many many fights haha. Yet did so much for both. Metal and hardcore got to experience the other side and even gaining some respect. Plus the hardcore side got to experience shows with people actually showing up.
That's a lot of words to say you like hanging out in Worcester. Also, it was the 00s metalcore bands that carried that festival, and not "classic" metal bands. When that scene dried up, so did the fest.
Exactly. Metal headlines it. Core scene died as did the feat. Metal bands that headlined are still headlining shows
Scott Lee is a fat f*ck. Once saw him 69 the whole acacia strain band. Him and all 4 guitarists at the same time. 4 guitarists to play 1 breakdown, while holding up Lee's gunt to get to his pee pee. Talent. Maybe 1 will sing for a cover band with god forbid later on in life.
