Decapitated cancel 25th anniversary tour of Europe

Decapitated have cancelled their 25th anniversary tour of Europe, originally scheduled to begin next week and include Archspire, Black Tongue, and Inferi. The UK and Ireland portion of the trek will be rescheduled shortly.

A statement from Decapitated reads as follows:

"Due to the ongoing pandemic situation and Covid restrictions across the continent, we are unfortunately forced to cancel all mainland Europe shows of our 25 Year Anniversary Tour that was supposed to kick off later this month. We held off making a decision as long as we could, but have sadly come to the point where we explored all options and could not find a way to still make it work. All tickets can be refunded at your point of purchase. We cannot wait to return to our beloved venues across Europe as soon as the situation will allow it again, and already have new plans in the works for later in 2022.

"To our UK & Ireland fans, we are currently working on rescheduling our 25 Year Anniversary shows to March-April and will be announcing the new dates shortly. Archspire, Black Tongue and Inferi unfortunately won’t be able to join us anymore, but we are trying our very best to put together a new exciting line up. If you want to support our band, crew, promoters and venues, please hold on to your tickets, as these will remain valid for the new dates.
