Iron Maiden announce North American tour with Trivium and Within Temptation

Iron Maiden tour

Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden will return to North America in the fall of 2022 for the latest installment of their "Legacy of the Beast" world tour. The trek will feature support stints courtesy of Trivium and Within Temptation, with the current schedule listed below.

Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood comments: "After our visit to Rock in Rio early September 2022 we have decided to take it back to our fans in North America and Mexico too, playing in cities or venues we did not get to last time we toured in 2019...

"We'll be making a couple of additions and changes to the production and setlist to include some songs from our new album Senjutsu and are making the 2022 version of Legacy of the Beast even more spectacular than the acclaimed original show. You can be sure that we will still be featuring all the 'hits' and the key elements of the original tour like the Spitfire, Icarus, Hell, flamethrowers and pyro and the rest - but we will shake it up a bit and Trooper Eddie will have serious competition in the new Senjutsu 'world' we are adding."

These guys have their own plane, literally. How do they have so many days off?? Financially, that can be crippling!

I'm seeing a lot of open dates here that could fit a Billings show in easily

Trivium actually bought onto this tour, can you believe that.

Todd Jones here. Saw Maiden on the Powerslave Tour in '84. I was only 2 or 3 at the time, but you best believe that this teensie baby alpha was already prowlin' with the killing hide under the frostbitten, grim moonlight. Bruno even passed the mic to your man during the chorus of "Aces High." Didn't even try to hit the notes; I just let out a ferocious howl like a rotty on a junkyard chain. Bruno couldn't hang with the big dogs, so I put on the aviators and latered that poser for eternity. He will never be one of us.

"We're playing our hits please come see us!" Also, Todd Jones is GOAT.

we are in the middle of a global worldwide pandemic and these bands think touring is a good idea? we need to shut down the entire music industry until covid is completely eradicated

What makes Judas Priest & Iron Maiden think they're big enough to play Prudential Center well over 30 years after their prime?
