Trivium album 'In the Court of the Dragon' debuts in Top 75 on Billboard 200
The new Trivium album, In the Court of the Dragon, has debuted at No. 71 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of roughly 11,000 in the United States. Of the tally, nearly 9,000 were pure sales (each sale is one CD or LP, or one paid album download, or ten paid single track downloads).
Meanwhile, In the Court of the Dragon landed at No. 5 on the Top Current Albums, No. 5 on the Top Album Sales, No. 8 on the Top Rock Albums, and No. 3 on the Top Hard Rock Albums charts.
This marks the eighth consecutive Trivium album to debut in the Top 100 on the Billboard 200 chart (dating back to 2006). Notably, however, In the Court of the Dragon is the first of those eight to debut outside the Top 35, and their smallest first-week sales total since 2005 album, Ascendancy.
Trivium's previous album, What the Dead Men Say (2020), bowed at No. 35 on the Billboard 200 after selling 12,500 copies in its debut week. Its precursor, 2017's The Sin and the Sentence, sold some 16,000 copies in its first week and landed at No. 23 on the Billboard 200. For older Trivium sales and charts results, have a look here.

Their singer looks like one of those Night Elves that Corpsegrinder was talking about.
lol in the court of the dragcon cause these dudes love rupaul
passable and not surprising. was one of the tier one mid 00s metalcore bands
Trivial always sucked. Lol at bands bragging about chart positions while their album sales consistently decline.
Homies just counting down the days until they can open for another Lamb of God/Megadeth tour, since that tour happens like 3 times a year every year.
I love the narrative that continues to be pushed that this band is in some way important.
Everyone above is ate the f*ck up. Trivium has been one of the most consistent and streamlined bands in decades. They haven't sold out and their sound has always evolved with each album. They've gotten more focused over the years. Dudes above don't know what the f*ck they're talking about.
Ascendancy is a fun record. Matt's a nice dude with some business sense. Not my favorite music but they're cool.
Shogun LP is a ripper straight up. Their bassist is an annoying little dweeb on social media but I can't hate. Used to be a big fan 10-12 years ago.
Yo, all the haters can eat dick. Trivium is amazing
